One of the problems related to the FIT programs is that our local government no longer has any say in whether or not a project is suitable or desirable for a particular location or neighbourhood. We would like the Provincial Government to restore local decision making powers for municipalities that have not approved projects and whose citizens do not want them in their community.
Below is a copy of a petition which we are circulating and would like to have presented before the end of the year. Please download and make as many copies as you like, circulate them among your friends and neighbours and return the completed petitions to Garfield Dunlop's office before November 30.
